Refund Policy

Last updated: 2026-02-09

We aim to be fair and transparent. Refund eligibility can depend on your subscription status, purchase timing, usage of credits, and applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

What this policy covers

This policy covers refunds for paid SoloFluency plans and add-ons (such as overage packs). It also explains what we typically need to evaluate a request. For pricing and plan limits, see Pricing.

Request window

Refund requests should be submitted promptly after the charge date for fastest review. Requests made long after a charge may be harder to validate (for example, because billing cycles have ended or usage has been consumed).

Common cases we can help with

  • Duplicate charges for the same billing period.
  • Accidental purchase (for example, wrong plan interval) where usage is minimal.
  • Unauthorized payment (we may ask for additional verification).
  • Major service outage that prevented access for an extended period.

Non-refundable cases

Some cases may be excluded from refund approval, especially when significant value has already been delivered. Examples include:

  • Completed billing cycles.
  • Exhausted or heavily used quotas and credits.
  • Clear abuse of refunds or attempts to bypass plan limits.

Plan changes, cancellations, and proration

Plan upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations may take effect immediately or at the end of the current billing period depending on the action and the billing provider configuration. If proration applies, it is handled by the billing provider and will typically appear on your next invoice or as an adjustment.

How to request

Contact support from the account email address and include:

  • Invoice ID (or a screenshot of the charge).
  • Charge date and amount.
  • Reason for the request (what happened and what you expected).
  • Any relevant details (for example, plan name, add-on name, or error messages).

You can reach support via Contact. For privacy-related requests (export or delete), review our Privacy Policy.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank, it may slow down resolution because the billing provider and bank require additional review steps. If possible, contact us first so we can investigate and resolve issues quickly.
