Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-02-09

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SoloFluency (the "Service"). By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

Who can use SoloFluency

You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are using SoloFluency on behalf of an organization (for example, a school or agency), you represent that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

Service scope

SoloFluency is an IELTS preparation platform. We provide learning tools such as diagnostics, study plans, practice sessions, and feedback. SoloFluency is not affiliated with IELTS, and we do not guarantee official exam outcomes.

Your content and submissions

When you submit writing, speaking audio, or other inputs, you keep ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to process it to provide the Service (for example, generating feedback, tracking progress, and producing evidence-based explanations). Do not submit sensitive personal information you would not want stored as learning evidence.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for activity performed through your account. In particular:

  • Maintain accurate account information.
  • Protect your credentials and access tokens.
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms.

Acceptable use

To keep SoloFluency reliable and fair for all learners, you agree not to misuse the Service. Misuse includes:

  • Attempting to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or security controls.
  • Automating traffic or scraping content at scale.
  • Sharing accounts in a way that defeats plan limits or creates abnormal load.
  • Submitting content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes the rights of others.

Billing terms

Paid plans renew each billing cycle unless canceled. Plan details, limits, and pricing are described on Pricing. Taxes may apply depending on your location. Invoices and payment processing are handled through our billing provider. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.

AI and scoring limitations

The Service uses automated systems to generate feedback and scores. While we aim for exam-true formats and evidence-based feedback, outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. Use SoloFluency as a learning tool, not as a guarantee of exam performance or a substitute for professional advice.

Availability and changes

We may update, improve, or discontinue parts of the Service. We also may perform maintenance that causes temporary downtime. We will try to minimize disruptions and keep core functionality available.

Intellectual property

The Service (including the website, UI, and learning flows) is owned by SoloFluency and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
